The second-phase of granting “Virusara Privilege Card” to war heroes and their family members, came about 30th April 2016 under the patronage of the State Minister of Defence Hon. The ceremony saw a total of 1,002 beneficiaries including 642 from Army, 194 from Navy, 91 from Air Force, 67 from Police and 08 from Civil Security Department, receiving the “Virusara Privilege Cards”.
