The 02nd phase of granting “Viusara” Privilege Card is held in Kuruvita

The tourth phase of granting ‘Virusara’ Privilege card was ceremonially held under the patronage of the State Minister of Defence Hon. Ruwan Wijewardena  at Gemunu Watch Regimental Headquarters in Kuruvita Rathnapura on 11th March 2016.

During the Ceremony 3170 war hero families of Rathnapura Moragolla Kegalle benefited whose near and dear ones were affected during the Humanitarian Operations.The 3170 bene ficiaries comprised of 2951 from the Army , 150 from the Navy 25 from the Air Force , 39 from the Police and 5 from the civil Security Department.

Theevent was also attended by the Chairperson of Ranaviru Seva Anthority Mrs. Anoma Fonseka  Chief of Staff of Army Major General Milinda Peiris , Commander North Centre  Naval Command Rear Admiral DC Gunawardana and a large number of officers from tri forces.
