Virusara Card beneficiaries receive special facilities at Government Hospitals & Railway

Apart from the existing benefits offered for the war heroes &their family members, the Ministry of Healthcare & Nutrition and Ministry of Transport & civil Aviation, have decided to offer a few more special facilities to its beneficiaries.

As per the circular 2016/13/01 circulated by the Director General of Health Service on April 2016, priority will be given in all the Clinics and OPDs of Government Hospitals when receiving Medical Treatments.

Moreover at the request of the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Hon Nimal Siripala the Cabinet approval has been granted to charge half of the value of the treatment for disabled war heroes when travelling on train.
