A discussion was held under the patronage of Secretary Defence to discuss promotional matters of Virusara Privilege Card distribution. The event was held at the auditorium of the Ministry of Defence. During the meeting the progress of the projects carried out thus far, was discussed and the officials who represented the government and private institutes made new comments and suggestions as well.

Speaking at the event the Secretary Defence expressed that arrangements have been made to distribute Virustara Privilege Cards for the war heroes who are in service at present. Further he mentioned that the war heroes made their valiant contribution during the conflict period for the preservation of peace in Sri Lanka and war heroes are the ones who step up forward to control any turbulent situation in Sri Lanka or overseas.

The occasion was attended by Secretary to the Defence State Ministry Mr. APG Kithsiri officers from the tri-forces, Police, Civil Security Department and officials from the following state and private institutes.
